10 days... :)

Well we are getting to the home stretch before the wedding! We will be in the single digit countdown starting tomorrow! I'm so excited! Of course there are still a few things to do, but luckily, with lots of help from my mom, pretty much everything is done. I am off work this Friday, and plan to get a few last minute things done, and then start packing for the honeymoon! Yay! I can't believe 10 days from now I'll be sitting in the salon getting my hair done for the wedding...and let's be honest, I'll probably be freaking out. As crazy as it sounds I haven't gotten nervous or anxious over the whole getting married thing. It all just seems so natural, and I know God made Jonathan and I for each other. But the day of could be a little bit of a different story. I'm sure my nerves will be a mess!

Other than the wedding, things are pretty uneventful - although the wedding does take up quite a bit of my waking hours when I'm not working. We had the inspection done on our new house last Friday, and everything looks great! We're way excited to get in there and start painting and making the house a little more colorful :) We close on May 15th, so not too long after the wedding! It will be a busy couple of weeks, but I know once things "settle down" it will be nice.

Well I should get back to working :) I hope everyone enjoys their day!

  1. single digits is way intense. i love all the countdown milestones. yesterday we hit 60 days and in my thought process i literally said to myself, "oh my gosh 60 divided by 2 is 30 and 30 is 1 month and that is crazy."

Congrats on the house passing inspection. Wow, marriage, home ownership. I think a goldfish is next.

  2. I told Jonathan we should get a dog, and his response was "Ash, you are not ready for a dog!" :) Maybe you're right and a goldfish is the next milestone!

  3. Brian is determined to get a dog. At first it was a puppy, and I was like no way am I taking care of a little puppy while you are out to sea for 3 months. We'll see though! I might have a dog on my hands shortly after we get married. It would be nice to have the extra company and a potential snuggle buddy while Brian is away.
