Here are some of our DIY projects we did for the wedding:
First was our program. I bought cardstock, linen paper, ribbon, and glue sticks and away we went. We desgined the cover and my Dad printed the covers as well as the inside pieces (the order of service, attendants, etc.) Maggie and I glued the covers and inserts onto the cardstock, scored and folded all of them, and then tied the ribbon along the side. It was a bit more of a job than I was expecting but I love that we can say we made them.
Next were the window sills. There were stained glass windows all along the right hand side of the church, and each window had one of these cute little vases. Actually the glass vases were already in all the windows, we just replaced the candles and added the ribbon to tie everything in with our color scheme.
Then came our favors. We bought packages of these little blue boxes. We put each one together, then ordered stickers to put on the bottoms of the kisses with our names and our wedding date.
Those are just a few of my favorite of our DIY wedding projects, although there were many many more.
Here are a few of my favorite of the pictures the photographer shot.
There are more pictures on facebook, these are just my favorites :)
